04 metrics

Four numbers that tell you whether your reputation is bleeding revenue or compounding goodwill. Each one is a yes/no decision input, not a vanity metric.

// 01

Response rate

Of the last 90 days of reviews, how many did you actually reply to. Below 60% is the red zone. Above 90% is rare.

// 02

Average response time

Median hours from review posted to your reply. Anything over 48 hours signals a vacuum. Under 12 reads as "this owner is paying attention."

// 03

Sentiment trend

Last 30 days versus the prior 60. Up, flat, or trending down. The trend matters more than the score.

// 04

Unanswered-review impact

Which unanswered negatives are doing the most damage, based on category-average conversion-impact studies. Methodology is in the report so you can check the math.

// Why this audit exists

For most local businesses I work with, reviews show up on the dashboard once a month, get a "great job" emoji from the owner, and disappear. That was my model too.

During a busy period, unanswered reviews are a reason to inspect the response workflow and customer feedback. Compare review timing with booking and revenue records before attributing a business change to reviews; no revenue loss is established by this example.

A reputation-monitoring workflow can be reviewed for response timing, escalation and human approval. Source example build cost: $1,200. No recovered revenue or recurring return is established by this example. Compare response records with business records before making an attribution.

How the scan works

// 5 steps
  1. Your URL is read-only scraped against the public Google Business Profile (or Yelp, Trustpilot, G2 if that's what you sent). No login. No API key from you. No data stored after the report ships.
  2. Reviews from the last 90 days are pulled with timestamps, ratings, and reply status.
  3. A sentiment classifier processes review text against a public-domain corpus of business reviews (specifically, BERT-based, not gpt-4 hallucination, so the scoring is reproducible).
  4. Response time is computed as median hours, not mean, to keep one outlier from skewing the number.
  5. Revenue impact uses your category's published conversion-impact studies (e.g. Harvard Business Review for restaurants, BrightLocal for service businesses) as the multiplier, not a guess.

05 questions

Is my Google data safe?

Yes. The scan reads public review pages only. Nothing private, nothing logged-in, nothing stored after the report sends. Your email is retained 24 months for follow-up if you reply, then deleted.

How accurate is the revenue-impact number?

It's an estimate, not a guarantee. The formula is in the report. The category multipliers come from public studies (BrightLocal, HBR), not made up. Treat it as "order-of-magnitude signal," not "exact dollars."

Will I get spammed?

No. One email with the report. That's it unless you reply. There is no newsletter to opt out of, no drip sequence in the queue, no second email a week later.

What if I don't have Google reviews?

Send a Yelp URL, a Trustpilot page, a G2 listing, or just your business name and city. The scan adapts. If you genuinely have zero public reviews anywhere, you'll get a different report ("you don't have a reputation problem yet, you have a review-acquisition problem") with the next step.

Why is this free?

Because the audit takes me 15 minutes and the next conversation either ends in "thanks, I'll fix this myself" or "build me the AI reputation monitor for $500 to $1,500." Both outcomes are fine. Neither requires a sales call.

// The guarantee

If the audit doesn't show you at least one fixable risk, I'll spend 15 minutes finding one for you. Free.

Real risks. Specific to your reviews, not platitudes. If your reputation is genuinely flawless and there's nothing to fix, I'll tell you that too, with the data showing why. The 15 minutes is on me either way.

Send the URL. Get the report in 5 minutes.

Scroll to the form at the top of the page, paste your business URL, hit Run the audit. Report arrives by email. No call required.

The AI Reputation Monitor

Tracks new reviews across the major review platforms. Drafts replies for your one-click approval, in the tone you set, within an hour. Alerts you within five minutes when a negative review lands. Sends review requests to happy customers automatically. Built once, runs forever, monitored by me.

Build: $500 to $1,500, one-time. No monthly fee unless you want me to manage it ($200 to $400/mo, optional).
